Bina Nusantara University’s English Department was extremely proud to present ‘The Fall of Men’ on July 6, 2009.
Set in the time of the Roman empire, the story tells of Gaius, a wounded Roman soldier left behind in a small village in Albion, known as Great Britain today. The story develops as Gaius falls in love with the daughter of the family who took him in, causing anger at this infidel from the elder sister. The plot thickens when, a neighbour, jealous of the family’s wealth, plots to use the conflict to her advantage.
A story fullĀ of love, rage, and jealousy illustrates how greed and anger can lead to the fall of men.
